Who Uses Fiddlefox
Classroom Teachers
Our read, sing, and play method is tailored to help early childhood teachers enrich their classrooms with dynamic musical content, fun craft activities, and music games. Accompany your next concert with our traditional instrumental tracks or collaborate with teachers around your school to create cross-curricular cultural units and performance events. Fiddlefox’s companion activity books provide teachers with fun facts, coloring pages, puzzles, and choreography inspired by each collection of songs.
Music Educators
Our multicultural music curriculum adds colorful context to your teaching routine, providing you with lesson plans, extra-curricular content, and video resources for continuing professional development. Fiddlefox’s rainbow bell notation helps students as young as 3 develop sight reading and ear training skills at the foundational stages of their musical development. With songs composed in a diverse range of meters, modes, tonalities, and styles, veteran music instructors can use these songs as a springboard into deep music learning.

How do you develop the materials for Fiddlefox?
Fiddlefox is developed in connection with Rock and Roll Daycare, an award-winning childcare program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Over 100 children and 50 teachers are given the materials for 2 months prior to release on fiddlefox music.com.
Our international team consists of individuals from Mexico, Nepal, Canada, Philippines, New York City, Boston, and Nashville.
We begin the Fiddlefox development process by working with a native of the featured country to choose four folk songs that represent a variety of styles from their culture. The Fiddlefox then travels between four countries to create the sights and sounds which categorize World Heritage Songbook.
